Wizz Air policy on e-cigarettes and vapes

0 491

Wizz Air has specific policies regarding the use of electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) and vapes:

  1. Carry-on Baggage: Electronic cigarettes, including e-cigars and other personal vaporizers containing batteries, are allowed for personal use in your carry-on baggage only. This also applies when a carry-on bag is checked at the gate or planeside. All electronic cigarette and vaping devices, along with any spare lithium batteries, must be removed from the bag and should be taken with you in the aircraft cabin.
  2. Usage on Board: Smoking on board, including the use of e-cigarettes, pipes, vapes, is strictly prohibited. This is to ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers on board.
  3. Checked-in Bags: E-cigarettes and vapes, along with their spare lithium batteries, are not allowed in your checked-in bags. This is due to safety regulations as lithium batteries can pose a fire risk in the cargo hold.
  4. Charging: Charging of e-cigarettes or vapes on board the aircraft is not allowed. This is again a safety measure to prevent any potential fire hazards.

Please note that these rules are subject to change and it’s always a good idea to check the latest information on the Wizz Air website before you travel. Also, keep in mind that these rules are in place to ensure the safety and security of all passengers on board.
